The Carbaryl chemical in Sevin Pet Powder kills pests by contact and stomach poison action. It disrupts the normal function of an insect’s nervous system, making it impossible for the insect to breathe. This results in paralysis and rapid death within 24-48 hours. 

Note that the target pest/parasite must come in contact (touch or ingest) with the powder in order for Carbaryl to be effective. 

How to Use Sevin Pet Powder 

Sprinkle a thin layer of Sevin Pet Powder on infested areas such as beds, trees, homes, atop anthills, and garden plants. Ensure to sprinkle directly where you’ve spotted pests or pest activity to get rid of persistent pest colonies. 

• To treat houses: Sprinkle product directly to walls, floors, roofs, and other infested areas 
• To treat dogs and cats: Sprinkle an appropriate layer of the powder directly from the container on the animals’ coats and rub the skin. 
• To treat pet houses: Powder all cracks, crevices, and floors. 
• To treat pet bedding: Powder pet clothing, bed clothing, and sleeping quarters each week.
