Mode Of Action

Oxyfluorfen is a contact herbicide that acts by disrupting the production of a chlorophyll enzyme resulting in an accumulation of chemicals that disrupt the normal working of cell membrane integrity in the presence of sunlight.

Application Rate 

Use 2.5 ml per liter of water

Application Techniques

Use COMMANDER® 240EC as a soil treatment or weed foliar treatment. Adequate coverage of weed foliage ensures effective control is achieved.

Important to Note;

• When heavy rain is forecasted, Commander 240 EC should not be applied.
• Application is best done 1 day after rain or irrigation once in a season
• Sprayed soil should not be plowed
•  COMMANDER 240EC  should not be used in a mixture of any mixture of chemicals if the effect of the mixture has not been tested before on the target crops.
• Treated areas should not be entered until after 12 hours after spraying, always use protective clothing when entry is required.
• An application can be delayed for up to a month, until when weed develops.
